SUPPORT FOR THE PEOPLE’S JUSTICE-SEEKING MOVEMENT:

Popular protests and strikes across the country have entered their eleventh day. Despite intensified security measures, heavy deployment of police and security forces, and violent crackdowns, protests remain widespread and diverse.

According to reports, at least 174 locations in 60 cities across 25 provinces have witnessed protests. Hundreds have been arrested, and at least 35 protesters—including children—have been killed.

From Dey 96 to Aban 98 and Shahrivar 1401, the oppressed people of Iran have repeatedly taken to the streets to reject exploitative political-economic structures. These movements seek not a return to the past, but the creation of a future free from domination, based on freedom, equality, social justice, and human dignity.

While declaring solidarity with struggles against poverty, unemployment, discrimination, and repression, we explicitly oppose any return to a past marked by inequality, corruption, and injustice. True liberation is only possible through conscious and organized leadership and participation of the working class and oppressed people—not through reproducing old and authoritarian forms of power.

Workers, teachers, retirees, nurses, students, women, and especially youth remain at the forefront of these struggles despite repression, arrests, dismissals, and economic pressure.

The Tehran and Suburbs Bus Workers’ Syndicate emphasizes the necessity of continuing independent, conscious, and organized protests.

We reiterate that the path to liberation for workers and laborers does not lie in leadership imposed from above, reliance on foreign powers, or factions within the ruling system, but through unity, solidarity, and the creation of independent organizations in workplaces and communities nationwide.

The syndicate strongly condemns any promotion, justification, or support for foreign military intervention, including by the United States or Israel. Such interventions destroy civil society, kill civilians, and provide further justification for repression. Past experiences show that imperial powers place no value on the freedom or livelihoods of the Iranian people.

We demand the immediate and unconditional release of all detainees and insist on the identification and prosecution of those responsible for killing protesters.

Long live freedom, equality, and class solidarity
The path of the oppressed lies in unity and organization
